DeniseDual Education Degree Course, now Assistant Store ManagerI did a dual education course, which meant studying part-time at the LDT Nagold Academy of Fashion Business, Management & Marketing, and gaining practical work experience in s.Oliver stores. s.Oliver is one of those companies that really values the working atmosphere above everything else. 'Family' and 'team spirit' are really important to the company. I am proud to work here. I am currently Assistant Store Manager, and I have already taken on management responsibilities in one of our stores. The company is growing – and I am growing with it.
ThorstenSenior Designer QS MaleAs a Senior Designer for QS Male, I work in the denims/trousers segment. I have always been interested in fashion. Today, I am part of the whole process, from design and creation to seeing the finished product in the shops. The little details, like buttons, stitching or other decorative items, are really important to me. It is these details that make the items special in the eyes of our customers, and that is the only way to make them love a product – because it is special.
ChristophOnline CoordinatorAs Online Coordinator, I administrate all of the important online platforms. The dissertation that I wrote to get my degree whilst at s.Oliver was about 'Web 2.0 Social Media' and so I am particularly pleased that I now have the chance to put all that theory into practice! I never know what to expect in my job – every day, something new happens.
